First you need to:
- Reveal any hidden [deleted] employees that may exist and…
- Assign each of these employees to a department that is [not] being deleted. Having no department is [not] an option.
Reveal all Employees:
ELIMINATING THE UNWANTED DEPARTMENT:
1. Click Settings > Locations/Departments. A popup window will open.
2. find the department you wish to delete and ensure that it is [not] checked for [any] location.
3. Now, click on the department [name] you wish to delete. Click Delete > Yes > OK.
